WE ARE
THE OPEN ROAD

Hi guys! I'm Kathy from The Open Road and I play the guitar.
We met at a gas station and started making music together, although it began with us writing lyrics on dirty napkins.
Now, we are proud to show our music to you guys! Check us our latest album- Letters From Home. We put a lot of love into it ; we hope you love it as much as we do.

I'm Bohdi and I sing and write some of the songs! In my spare time I love to take photos! Maybe you spotted some of my own footage in our new music video; America!

transcript
WHY IS KATHY SINGING ON YOUR NEW MUSIC VIDEO? Even though I am the singer, I love to watch Kathy humming along to the lyrics so I had to include that behind the scenes of us creating the song so many of you guys love! WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SONG ON THE ALBUM? That's a mean one! like trying to choose a favourite child *laughs* if i had to choose... its got to be America, come on! It's our most popular song since its release so I assume it's a lot of yours' too? Comment below your favourite song on our new album ... WHO WRITES THE SONGS? Well, most of our songs our a joint effort with one of us coming to the studio with the base of a song or even just an idea and then we collaborate to work out how their vision will be presented through the music. WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION FROM TO THE LYRICS AND THEMES IN YOUR SONGS? Everywhere! i try not to look to hard though as i don't want to music to be forced. it usually will appear when i most need it in ways i don't expect.
Tell us where you're listening from!
We 'll send you a postcard from the road.
